A shared view of voice operations

RouteTrust combines two perspectives that voice providers need: the experience to build sophisticated telecom software and the experience to operate the networks that depend on it.

Russell Bierschbach brings decades of telecommunications software architecture and routing-engine development. Michael Rothchild brings experience leading carrier operations, network transitions, acquisitions, and process improvements.

Together, they focus on solving the practical challenges behind voice networks—not simply adding more technology.

Telecom software architecture, routing engines, and operator workflows

Russell founded RouteTrust in 2016 after a career building software for the telecommunications industry. His work focuses on making complex voice operations easier to manage through practical software architecture, cloud computing, and open-source technology.

Pathfinder is the fifth routing engine Russell has built. Across those projects, he has translated complex network requirements into software that helps operators make and maintain routing decisions. That experience shapes his approach to carrier data and the systems voice providers depend on every day.

At RouteTrust, Russell leads the technical direction of tools for phone-number management, routing, reporting, and automation. His focus is the same one that started the company: simplify the operation and management of voice networks.

Michael Rothchild

Carrier operations, network migrations, acquisitions, and process improvement

Michael has led operations and engineering teams at voice carriers since 2001. His experience includes start-ups, acquisitions, carrier and switch migrations, and improving operations while managing costs and maintaining customer support. Those projects require understanding dependencies across networks, carriers, billing, and business processes.

A Houston native and a graduate of the University of Houston's inaugural entrepreneurship class, Michael has worked across telecom operations, technology development, energy trading, and manufacturing. That background informs his practical approach to processes, systems, and teams.

Michael joined RouteTrust in 2016 after working with Russell on earlier projects. He focuses on connecting product capabilities to the work customers need to get done, identifying operational dependencies and improving the processes and systems that support sustainable growth.
